Clockwork time and inordinate spaces
Are unparalleled
In their divine scope.
They grasp for enormous depths
And shake up very little
In this world of people, purpose, and things;
For it is a universe of like beings and objects,
Transcendentally mirrored,
With their opposing unlikenesses
Creating friction as well as
Moral uncertainty in a challenging,
And oftentimes impossible to surmise,
Reality of political bearing and actions.
Truth and lies exist together in time and space,
Adjuncts to deeper, meaningful learning;
Skeptics forever holding the throne
Of innate and warranted distrust,
All trying mightily to recapture the glory
Which was hope,
With perhaps a little kindness
And love to their future benefactors.
A provisionary clock that chimes in a tiny space
Provided for it
Will likely never satisfy one’s eternal longing
For giving in…
