An item I wrote when feeling poorly about my marriage. Fiction based on fact.
Trapped, hoisted by my own petard.
Life threw a temptation at me, and I was naive enough to take it.
The bait was cleverly placed.

They say life is for mistakes.
You make them and learn.
I try to keep that in mind, when I am low and self abusive.

I feel so separate from, the man who is supposed to be, everything to me.
Lover, friend, companion, better half of the whole.

I am so very comfortable in my cage.
It was built by us both, may not be gilded.
But bars are strong if made from denial, insecurities and lust.

It is so horribly terrifying, trying to once again go alone.
This time I have long lasting souvenirs.
A young daughter and a pregnant belly.
