This is a story about a woman who overcomes tragedy and despair.
Hello, my name is Mary and I am going to tell you my story. I will not be telling you what I look like. This is because little things

about me will be revealed along the way. This story will be not be a typical romance or anything like that. Just reality! Read if you

dare, but I will warn you with this only once. Don’t expect a man to come and sweep me off my feet and take me away to a great

place. However, there was a man in my life that did make me feel like a princess. He made me feel safe and loved, but that was

just a trap. A trap??????? Yes, a trap. He fooled me into believing that all was well. This was all a lie.

Overall, this story is a tragedy. I do not die, but a part of me does in a way. Not in a bad way!!! A good way!!! I hope that you

haven’t gone away and navigated to another page. This is an uplifting story. A story that must be told. Oh dear, I am deeply sorry

if I have scared you. Please settle in your seat and get ready for the story of all stories. Enjoy!

MORNING (part 1)

I look to the sky and see the white clouds. Puffy, white, moving slowly across the beautiful blue sky. I feel the sun caress my skin and

make me feel refreshed and new. I glance to my left and see a little brown bird. It chirps and chirps calling out to its buddies.

They fly over and settle along the metal fence. A small smile is on my face as I watch them interact. A moment of peace washes

over me as I walk down the hall and into the kitchen. *Oh god* There he was. Kyle. He looked up from his bowl of what looked

like cornflakes and smiled. I returned the smile and headed to the sink. I washed my hands and grabbed the towel off the rack to dry them.

Suddenly a pair of arms were around my waist. “Ya know, I can be late to work today.” Kyle said to me is a seductive tone. I

wriggled out of his grip and gave him a frown. “No. We need the money.” I stated as I poured a cup of coffee. His smile faded

instantly and a look of anger was set. *Oh no.* I looked over to the table and went to sit. Kyle roughly grabbed my arm and

pushed me to the floor. “What in the hell did you just say!” He yelled into my face. “What did I say?” I said innocently. He slapped

me hard across the face. “You have no right in hell worrying about whether or not we need money!” He continued yelling. My heart

was beating faster and faster. I just stayed silent. Scared to say anything. “ANSWER ME!!” He screeched. “I’m sorry honey. I won’t

ever say that again.” I quietly said. He walked out of the kitchen and down the hall. Then I heard the bedroom door slam. Tears

began flowing as they did every morning. I got up and sat at the table.

Well there you have it! The first part of my story. I hope that you check back soon for part 2. Thank you for reading.
