I had this poem published.
Fighting a thunderous storm
I am getting wet,
it is getting danderous
and it is not over yet.
Lighting is flashing
ripping things apart,
no one can imagine
what this is doing to my heart.
The storm is getting ugly
and my body is getting cold,
this whole situation
is really getting old.
Waiting for the storm to
finally subside,
then and only then
can I go outside.
