Comparision of a leaf and the soul
A solitary leaf falls rapidly to the ground,
a gentle wind blows the trees tenderly around.

Fall hangs in the backdrop of summer's end,
quickly autumn will give into winter again.

Rain gradually falls as darkness envelopes the night,
we sit, reflecting upon our past with laughter and delight.

We'll speak of time that passes so soon,
knowing one day we'll face our last harvest moon.

Nothing will stop the reminiscing of our life's seasons,
for God gives us this ability to recall for a reason.

Our lives transform like the season's each year,
as we study and mature among laughter and tears.

With wisdom comes knowlege as we were once told,
that understanding is something we can ardently hold.
