When the harsh realities of ravins world are more than she can cope with. Ravin escapes
Ravin stood at the edge of the cliff. Her long coal black hair blowing in the warm breeze.Expressionless she watched the moons slowly rise high in the sky.As the moons took their place high above.A brilliant pink hue washed over the landscape. This was Ravins special place her escape when lifes realities were more than tolerable.Sitting on a soft carpet of blue fisher moss
Ravin quietly watched a Plump then two,six shoot out of the water.
Soaring skyward hunting their prey. She felt badly for the unsuspecting birds as
the plump with its razor sharp teeth plucked the bird out of mid air with its teeth.
Then the plump dove straight down into the depths of the lake with the bird.
Ravin wished all lifes problems could disapear as fast as the plump, bird.Wonderful that would be Ravin wispered The moss shifted almost as if
it had ears, were listening intently. Every word or sylable Ravin uttered she felt was heard but by who?Fixing her sight on the rock ledges across the lake. She could
see grabitz moving in ,out of hundreds of holes on the rok wall.
Grabitz are small in stature, resemble emaciated children with dark sunken eyes.Wings with razor sharp edges an evil sort of cherub.Screams like those of a baby in distress.Watching them made the tiny hairs on her neck stand up.Ravin believed grabitz were the product of an awful experiment or maybe a mutation. And they terrified her even though no one had ever seen a grabitz fly.
Ravin was told their wings were to frighten away other creatures who may cause harm. She was ever so thankful the grabitz resided way over there. This trip
to the cliffs was Ravins first without her mother at her side.Tears she had cried over
such a deep loss were just another sign of weakness.Ravins mother had instilled in her such a powerful light, strength like none other anywhere. Not in this world nor
anywhere else.
