This is about a school girl, who faces stage fright for a School Talent Show.
School Talent Show

It was a nice, hot, sunny day and the school hall was crowded with students from different year groups. Everybody was so excited about the school talent show on Friday. It was Wednesday morning so nobody had time to fool around as the talent show was only a couple of days away.
Galencia, a tall skinny, long, curly dark haired, shy school girl, was also entering the talent show, she hadn't had a single idea about what she was going to do. All Galencia's friends and other year group classmates already knew what they was doing and was running through everything so they didn't mess up on the big day.
There were poets, singers, dancers, story tellers and any other sort of entertainment roles that you could think of. Galencia had nothing, nothing, nothing and the talent show was soon on its way.
"Ok everybody, are you all set for the talent show" shouted the teacher amongst all the talking students. Everybody in the room nodded and screamed happily, but Galencia quietly stood there watching all of the happy faces glowing around her.
"Galencia, Galencia so what have you got for this Friday" asked one of Galencia's friends running up o her.
"ummm well it's a surprise" she replised with a strange dull tone in her voice.
After school Galencia met her mother at the school gates. "Are you ok darling, you seem a little distant today" asked Galencia's mother. Galencia looked at her mother then looked down at her hands and started twiddling her fingers.
"Well the school talent show is on friday and i don't know what i should do, all my friends and everybody else has at least one thing to do, but me i don't have nothing" replied Galencia nearly in tears.
"Well, what would you like to do" Galencia shrugged her shoulders. "Well, what do you like doing" Galencia looked out of the car window, and up at the sky "singing" said Galencia smiling.
"There you go dear, you know what you want to do, all you have to do is pick a song and sing" explained Galencia's mother turning into the driveway.
Galencia swung the car door open and ran inside the house, up the stairs and into her room.
Thursday came and went quickly and there was only a couple of hours left until Galencia's big day. Galencia ran through her song over and over again, and then slept for the last hour before waking up for school.
Friday morning came and Galencia was up and ready. She took bus to school that morning and went straight to the school hall ready for the talent show.
A few hours later students from every hall entrance came streaming in to fill up the seats that had been put out for everyone to sit down on.
The hall went quiet as soon as the hall lights went off and the stage lights went on. Music started to play and dancers came prancing into the stage dancing to Missy Elliots song. Time was going by quickly as more dancers, singers, poets and alot more entertainers came on and off stage.
Galencia was next up on stage, she was very excited but nervous.
"Now for the last performance we will be having Galencia on stage singing 'Miracles by Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston'. Galencia slowly walked onto the stage and looked around at the audience below her. The song started playing, but Galencia had become too shy to actually open her mouth. The music stopped playing, the audience watched Galencia in silence, waiting, waiting for her to start.
The music restarted, and for a second time nothing came from Galencia, she just stared open eyed at the audience as if she had just seen a ghost. The music stopped and Galencia's teacher ran up on stage and whispered something in Galencia's ear. Galencia nodded and stared up at the ceiling.
The music restarted for a third time and this time Galencia did start singing. Everybody in the hall watched her in amazment as her voice sweetly echoed throughout the school hall. Galencia sounded like a princess, her voice was as sweet as the angels above singing their Godly music for all Gods loved ones below the sky of clouds.
As Galencia sang quieter and quieter to close the song, every single person stood up and cheered as loudly as they could. Throughout the hall there was students clapping, screaming, whistling, cheering and waving in every single direction that Galencis looked in.
Galencia was so proud of herself and hoped that one day she would be able to sing her heart out to people again. Galencia also realised even if you aren't confident in yourself, no matter what or whoever is around, if your good at something and you really want to show people your skills, then just go for it, don't wait for anybody to stop you from living your most valuable dreams.
