I was approached by a women's weekly magazine to write a small column. Not published yet.
Writing an article for a predominately woman’s magazine is no easy feat, especially for someone like me. What are you supposed to write about which doesn’t get you in trouble with the fairer sex? Obviously nothing which has an opinion, but then again I don’t really want to appear as a completely spineless individual so therefore I will try to keep this as tame as possible and see what happens.  Ladies, you look good in whatever you wear, if the man of the moment is completely infatuated with you. Whatever you do, don’t push him into that trap of letting him have to make an opinion of what you are wearing. Let’s be honest here, most men’s fashion tips for women consist of them wearing absolutely nothing, just look at the selection of UK Men’s magazines, so why even bother asking them. You know you are only going to be disappointed by their answer. First and fore mostly because they don’t really care and coming in as a close second, you’ve actually realized that they don’t really have any fashion sense and are not the hoped for metro sexual. So why continually harass them? It’s not good for you and it sure as hell isn’t good for them. Men fall into two categories, those that choose the first dress and those that choose the second one. The men that choose the first dress can trace their ancestry back to the primeval days and rely on their instincts that a bird in the hand is better than two in the bush, whilst the man that chooses the second dress is quite happy to sit and wait for something better to come along for dinner, although it might not. Yes, you heard me right, men are still neadrathals, so why bother asking them about fashion tips.  There you go, an article which has no opinion and is likely not to get me in to too much trouble, but if you’re wondering, I don’t care if it’s the first dress or the second as long as the end result is the same, out of the house and to the restaurant on time.
