For mom, poem outlining her soul and mine were connected from birth, and always will be. |
“One Angel” A perfect world this is not, or so it seems. They say He doesn’t make mistakes. As we learn to accept the universe, is unfolding as it should. Opening our minds to the reasoning, that hurts can be amended, and many times mended. Dark forces, of a world we fear, not to be taken in vain. He knows His plan forever on end. Not even a small detail He ever leaves out. Just as a skin color is made to endure, it’s brutal surroundings, warmer is darker, as coldest is lightest. Our humanly scratches can hurt to the bone, When evil, deceit just won’t go away. One soul, like a lost little child, Tormented by a force with too many fears, to open his mind, and save that small innocent stare. Alas, He hasn’t forgotten, about the darkest of thorns. He owns this spirit, and no scratch will go un patched. The pains will be mended, He will make it right. Some won’t find their way, His signs be revealed, never to a closed mind nevermore. It was on a Sunday, another baby boy, a miracle of life just like before. A child marked differently from the start, with signs to show that his focus is only for your heart. God’s plan forges on and soon you will see. Take his hand, through his body, feel his spirit. Cherish it, it’s a gift from God. Look into his eyes, and feel his soul, for only you can truly see it. His love for you forever and always, more today, but less than tomorrow. Together you will seek, and see that the pains of this life, Are no less a reason, than roots of the trees, that march up the mountains, inner-twinned to escape the erosive force of the storms, that water the earth. This is your soul mate, eternally with you. Separation , never. You are two souls, two bodies. Yielding His plan to one spirit, on one wing. Your spirits, now with two wings will fly away with the breeze. Together forever, one angel by Scott Todd (a.k.a. Ott Todd) 02/03/2004 |
