Look beyond self and into the profound mystery of God's creation.
Nigh orb of sparkling light
Sing that melody of sweetness bright

To mine eyes of vanity filled,
And darkness all to spill

Upon thine glistening beauty rare,
And perfect face not a tear.

When will mine eye to thee delight,
And wonder wrap my spirit tight?

When will self be deceived,
And should be relieved?

Not 'till after the heavens turned,
And the earth burned,

Will I see it all,
And do fulfill my natural call.
