Devilish and evil, life can change
Perfect house, perfect car,
Perfect kids,perfect husband.
Perfect woman with
Perfect eyes and a perfect blonde.
Her life was a dream,
She had anything she wanted.
Her cash had no end,
The money she flaunted.

Then she blinked

Everything was gone,
Nothing was the same.
She screamed and cried,
Then went numb with pain.
Her perfect house,
Burned to the ground.
Everything inside,
Would never be found.
Her perfect car,
Twisted, melted steel.
All that was left,
Was the warped steering wheel.
Her perfect kids,
All murdered in their beds.
A bullet hole through,
Each of their blonde heads.
Her perfect husband,
Swung from a tree.
Noose around his neck,
Entrails spilled for all to see.
The perfect woman,
Pale face splotched with red,
Looked into the mirror,
Wishing she were dead.
Her perfect blue eyes,
Now bloodshot with grief,
Stared emptily into space,
Still full of disbelief.
Her perfect blonde hair,
Now gray with ash and sweat,
From looking for something,
Something she could never get.
Her perfect life, her dream,
Lay in shambles at her feet.
The only thing she could hear,
Was her own tortured heartbeat.

All she did was blink.
