A girl following a voice and encountering fairies
"Come to me," the voice whispered. "Come to me."
She flew over green hills, over trees that had snow piled on their branches. She followed the scent of smoke until she landed near a bond fire. Their were fairies dancing around in circles. Laughing in their freedom, not bound by time or mortality. "Come to us," they spoke motioning her forward.
"I'm coming," she said, smiling enraptured by the fairies. Streching her arms out to reach them. "I'm coming."
Rachel woke up with a start, sweat beading down her forehead. Her body was drenched with perspiration. She could still her them whispering in her head. "It was only a dream," she whispered. "It was only a dream."
