Re-write the beginning of Snow-White.
The sky was green and dark, and she grinned, satisfied the night's weather would compliment her mood. The queen clenched her teeth at the thought of that evening's celebration, the wretched brat's seventh birthday. She drew in a deep breath to calm her nerves, but lost her breath for a moment. The girl had earlier fastened the corset too tight, and now it nearly cut into her chest. The queen heaved a sigh of irritation. Her sight drifted away from the stormy sky and focused in on the castle window pane. She noticed her reflection in the glass. Hours of primping had served her well; even the looking-glass had confirmed it for her. Pleased, she looked down at the stunning black sequenced gown that graced her figure.

"You look beautiful tonight, my dear."

The queen smiled as her ego inflated like a party balloon. In her reverie, she hadn't heard the pair of footsteps enter the room behind her. She lifted her eyes and caught the reflection of the king looking on to the one he admired. Little Snow- White's face illuminated the window pane.
