Sunshine

Like a glistening flower after a summer rain,
or a bees sweet honey made without vain,
is the place in my heart I hold you near,
for when I've missplaced myself I have no fear.
You are the gold beneath my wings,
that carries me far and out into unknown things.
But with the comfort of your arms,
I know I will not fall,
for your hold is stronger,
than any GI Joe doll.
Your smile warms my heart
for any day with a bad start.
And even when the sun does shine,
I will always call you mine.
Embrassing me with open arms you carry me away,
you never leave me,
so here I am to stay.
Regardless of the rain,
we will play in it.
