Life in HollyRealm isn't a party. I hate it here. Well, that might only be because my mom left me here and never came back. I've been stuck in this stupid Realm ever since!

Anyway, here's my story.


         It was a quiet day; as quiet as could be expected in the capitol city of HollyRealm. People were walking quickly by Alley 21, my home. They didn't take any notice to me as they went about their day, probably complaining about how their children weren't doing well in school or how their boss was mad at them or something. I wish my mom was here to complain about how I was doing at school, but noooo; she probably is enjoying life without the burdon of a sixteen year old girl! Well, maybe I'm better off without her here to bother me!
         As I continue to watch the people go by, I notice someone unlike the others. He was walking on the sidewalk across the street from the Alley, talking on the phone, when, suddenly, he just closed his phone and looked in my direction. I didn't know what to think: that had never happened before! So, I looked at him for a moment, then went back to making my food for the day. A few minutes later, when I looked into the street again, he was still there! So, I put aside the food, and slowly left the safety of my Alley.
         When he saw me leave my Alley, he stumbled as he crossed the busy street and approached the place where I stood at the entrance of Alley 21.With a scared expression, he walked up to me and just stood there for a few minutes. Then, he spoke, "What are you doing in that Alley?" he asked.
"I live there," I replied sharply.
"Why do you live there?" the boy asked. Apparently he can't see that I didn't want to talk to him because he kept talking!
"What's it to ya!?!" I said, turning around to re-enter Alley 21.
"I...I was just wondering, cause it looks cold and lonely!" he boy explained, his voice dripping with concern.
"Oh..." I said. Nobody had ever been kind to me before, or even really noticed me. I didn't know what to think! So, I just said, "Its not that bad. I'm sorry, I really should get going. It was nice talking to you," and before he could reply, I turned around and strutted back into Alley 21.
