A poem about the effects of love.
How do you do it?
Make me feel this way?
How is it that you
Give me these words to say?

When I don't even want to smile
How do you make me laugh?
How do you raise my spirits
When they were cut in half?

How does my heart sing
Even though my voice is bare?
How do you make me calm
When I'm pulling out my hair?

How do you make me wish
For tonight to never go?
When just this morning
I felt so low.

When my dreams are dying
How do you bring them back?
How do you give my mind
The wisdom that it lacks?

How do you create a sparkle
That gleams in my eye,
Everytime you laugh
And everytime you smile?

I think I know what has taken control
It's Love that my heart holds.
