in a still haze
reality is at haste
it flows like the rapids of
the river
but i am the rock
still, in the watery quarry
not a muscle to move
but life is ever passing
with whispers of love
and gripping with hate
challenges appear
and oppurtunity vanish
nothing but regret
will ever rest upon my stone
