Twisted tale of choosing a mate, anger management, and a children's fable
This is the story of Dorville McSlam
The royal prince of Tempangabam
Where the babies don't whimper
And no children have tempers
Except for young Dorville McSlam

Everybody in Tempangabam knows
Dorville gets angry whereever he goes
When he stomps through the room
Kids and critters go ZOOM
In fear of his fists and his toes

One day on a family vacation to Romitalli
He met a girl he though was so lovely
She told him she'd like him more
If he'd quit slamming doors
And start being nice to his family

What happened next would surprise you I'm sure
That mean little prince turned sweet and mature
He bullied no more
No one heard him slam doors
His love for Irabella so strong and so pure

Dorville McSlam and his beautiful bride
Were loved in the kingdom far and wide
Of his years as a bully
They forgave him fully
And his lovely wife gave him a girl child

But everything changed when their daughter was four
Iradora inherited Dorville's complexion and more
She pouted and fussed
But her hair never mussed
As she angrily slammed every door.

Poor Irabella, she pondered her fate
She married a man who once was irate
Now their darling little starlet
Had become quite a tartlet
And she prayed her child's anger would abate

This brings me to the lesson I wish to share
Be wary who you marry, and buyer beware
You may have a child
So meek and mild
Or, like Irabella, you may have a nightmare.
