But for the very last time......
Tonight was the last time I'll feel your wrath
For your ill rampage was above compare
I lie here bleeding amongst shards of glass
This time I'm broken beyond all repair
With a drunken drawl, you spewed out harsh words
Accusing me of blame, you said I'm crass
This time I'm broken beyond all repair
I lie here bleeding  amongst shards of glass
Your boot unto my breast, a surly hit
Silently, I send up a pleading prayer
I lie here bleeding amongst shards of glass
This time I'm broken beyond all repair
You pulled me back up with violent rage
I've seen a side of you that no one has
This time I'm broken beyond all repair
I lie here bleeding amongst shards of glass
A forceful shove sent me through the window
I whispered to God to end the nightmare
I lie here bleeding amongst shards of glass
This time I'm broken beyond all repair
Through rugged breaths, I heard your truck fire up
Sweet tears of irony, freedom alas!
This time we're broken beyond all repair
I lie here smiling amongst shards of glass

This is a Mirrored Refrain style poem.
The Mirrored Refrain is rhyming verse form constructed by Stephanie Repnyek.

The poem is formed by three or more quatrains where two lines within the quatrain
are the "mirrored refrain" or alternating refrain.

The rhyme scheme is as follows: xaBA, xbAB, xaBA, xbAB, etc..

x represents the only lines that do not rhyme within the poem.  A and B represent
the refrain.  The first four stanzas of the example poem are labeled for better
