I'm sorry i'm the way i am/ i wish i would have shown ya all that i can be, was and am/ wish we would of taken another approach/ and when i had the chance i didn't choke/ i would have if i knew how/ 2 drop my guard and let it all out/ neva want 2 get hurt, really who does?/ wouldn't want 2 hurt you, but that not all it was/ can't really point it out/ but with you i would have tried it/ shit/ with no doubt/ but we didn't go there/ we took another route/ wish i would have said or asked so much/ but didn't want 2 come on 2 strong, or get my hopes up jus to be crushed/ in alot of ways you don't know me, really and truly/ but that's my fault, and i take that blame/ in my mind, it's keeps repeatin'/ what if you could of been mine/ did i lose my chance/ or was it just lust at first glance?/ i really don't know/ now i've said my peace, it's up 2 u how far we go/ or do we stay here/ regardless of your answer i want 2 stay friends wanna make that clear/ there'll be no weirdness between, well not atleast not on my part/ but if you want it, you can have my heart/ if not, your friendship will be enough/ hope i didn't freak you out and please don't feel pressured/ say how you feel i want nothin' lesser/ don't say what you think i want 2 hear/ jus be real, you've always been straight up with me, as far as i know/ so let me ask you, how far you wanna go?
