Self-reflection
Center and Counter-Center

I am the center
The universe encompassed by my hopes
I am the compass
The universe woven with paths to take
I am the weaver
The end is only the distance traveled
I am the scribe
From center to center and hope to hope

I am the swimmer
The eyeless fish in the cavern of thought
I am blind to all
The water of thought carries me dimly felt
I am colorless
The faster I swim the less I feel
I am oblivious
The unconscious thought flowing around me
I am driven on
The action in stopping breathing not thought
I am too simple
The simple is too simple to accept
I am free if only, I ask to be free
