Sometimes, friends tell your deepest, darkest secrets, & you feel betrayed.
We've been friends
for a while.
I came to you
when I needed to smile.

Now, my heart is broken,
my smile's faded away.
Tears streamed down my face,
and the marks are there to stay.

How could you have said those things?
The words ring through my mind.
If you look into my heart,
I'm sure that you will find
who I truly am,
and who I want to be.
And I'm sure you'll see
that I still want to be your friend.

But I need to know
that you want to be mine.
We can't just keep going,
pretending everything's fine.

Which one of us is at fault?
Which one of us has to apologize?
Were you always faking it?
Forever telling me lies?

I'm not sure if I can Trust you...
