Its about the bond between two individuals
I had never expected to be alone like this. I wanted to scream out loud. He was my only friend and I couldn’t understand to what I should do. I’ve been walking along this peaceful park, and still not one solid answer could come to me. I could visualize his face looking at me with unexplainable face. I wanted to talk to him on that day however; it had seem that I was too caught up with what people told me. He had raped and killed a young lady, who was the same age of me. At first, I couldn’t believe that he did such horrible things. I went to him at the time when he was arrested in his house. I was speechless and confuse about the fuss. I asked them to what had happened and they just told me that he was arrested for such crime. I couldn’t believe it. I never could imagine that he would do such thing. I sat down along the steel bench. I was looking blankly out of nothing. Then, I noticed two individuals. It made me realized something as they walked together. “Why?” I gasped. I smirked and shook my head. I knew that I was such a stupid little girl. I should never hesitate. “He is my friend,” I gasped as ran back to the jail. I visited him again. This time I smiled to him. He looked at me wondering why. “How have you been?” I asked. He didn’t say anything. He just kept his mouth shut. “What’s wrong?” I asked him wondering for such silent treatment. He stood and turned around. I don’t understand. Why had he turned his back? Was he mad that I didn’t speak up soon enough? I didn’t get it. I really couldn’t. I stood and stomped my hands to the table. “WHY?” I gasped. Everyone was looking at me. He on the other hand just glanced at me. I didn’t get it. I sat down and looked to the filthy ground. The guard went to me and asked for me to leave. I did what he asked me; I left. The trial for my friend was coming up. I hesitated to go because I knew that he didn’t want me there. My mother asked me to what my plan was. I look at her and didn’t say anything. Then my father marched in, “YOU SHOULD LET HIM BE” he told me with such great power in his voice. I looked at him blankly. My mother tried to silence my father yapping about my friend. He was saying that I was lucky enough that I wasn’t the one that my friend raped and killed. If I was the one, he would surely kill my friend with his own hands. I didn’t say anything to what he commented. Yeah! He had a point that I was lucky that I wasn’t the girl raped. However, the question in my mind, was my friend who actually do it? The proofs pointed to him, but deep in my heart, there was a doubt about it. I told my parents to let me be. My father was about to start again to yap, but my mother pushed him out as she walked out of the room. I jumped to my bed and closed my eyes. I should think this over again. What do I really want? What? What? What? The time flowed so fast that I never realized that it was almost the time for his trial. I didn’t want this to slip out of my mind again. I went to the jail and confronted him again. I asked him straightly to what the truth was. He looked at me. The indescribable face was no longer there. I wondered why. I didn’t want to waste my time again to wait for his answer. I asked him again to what had happened at that day. I was not showing pity on him. In fact, I was showing how I want to know the truth and nothing else. After a few minutes, he finally spoke out. “I killed that girl,” he said. The news about me was surprisingly not shocking at all. It was like I was accepting it quite easily. “I had longed for that girl, and still she kept treating me like I’m nobody,” he said, “I tried to kiss her, but she slapped me which triggered me to grabbed her tightly and forced myself to her,” he continued. I looked at him and didn’t say anything. I was listening to him. “I kissed her with passion. I then forced her until I actually raped her. After that she was out cold. I was looking at her blankly. Immediately fear came to me. I was shaking. I placed on my shirt to her naked body. I went out to look for a cab. But as I return back I saw a guy trying to touch her. I immediately went to her and tried to stop the guy. However that guy had a knife with him. I held his hand which held the knife. We were fighting to get the knife. Along the fight, I was pushed away from him and landed to her. The knife was on my hand as I landed which made me stab her. The guy already ran off as I was shock to what had happened,” he told me. I smiled and patted him. “Even though you said that you killed her, I will surely say that you didn’t do anything,” I told him. “Yeah—at first I was confuse to what had happened to you, but as the confusion disappear in my heart, I was certain that I will surely stand by your side no matter what the outcome it may be,” I added. He looked at me stunned as his eyes slowly flowing with tears. The bonds we had would never break away. I would never hesitate again when another unpredictable situations of his life again. It was because I knew him and I accepted him to every faults he had.
