a being from another world visits earth and protects it from destruction
Keep in mind that people can change in an instant. You may meet a total asshole one day, but find out later that he or she is actually a nice person. How monumental this is can be the forerunner of a whole new era of man. My purpose was to show these animals that. My job was the arbiter of this small planet. The species were eventually going to exterminate themselves if I didn’t teach them this simple fact.
Although I may come on a bit harsh, the hierarchs needed to see how important it was to save this insignificant species. I brought myself down to that small planet, disguised as a child, in hopes to bring this world to peace.
My true name cannot be written in mere words, and so I have given myself another name, and in this name came my identity. I have given myself the name Daniel. It came From the Hebrew name דָנִיֵּאל (Daniyyel) meaning "God is my judge". Daniel was a Hebrew prophet whose story is told in the Book of Daniel in the Old Testament. He lived during the Jewish captivity in Babylon, where he served in the court of the king, rising to prominence by interpreting the king's dreams. The book also presents Daniel's four visions of the end of the world. I too have seen the end of the world many a time over, so the name fits well with who I am.
I descended upon the earth no more subtle than a bird perching in a tree. As I became closer to the surface, I was acutely aware of all the life around me. Every inch of my being was filled with the knowledge of life, and death.
I put my first foot on the solid earth, and I felt my immortal soul leave my now slowly decaying body. I had become human, but with the knowledge of gods. I had observed this species for quite some time so I was familiar with their nature. I discovered it was better to be found than to seek. I experimented with my new corporeal body. I moved my arms, then my legs. There was nothing more that I could do in my current state. I tried to fly like I normally would, but without wings it was useless.
To be human was such a tiresome task to perform. It took so much energy just to lift my arms. Do you see now hierarchs! This is why we cannot be rid of these creatures. They experience so much on a daily scale we cannot even begin to comprehend their thoughts. When the time comes for me to return, I will share with you this document.
It appeared to me that the world that these humans lived on became a piece of art in their eyes. The world around them became a giant canvas upon which they built and destroyed.
I sat underneath a large oak tree on the top of a hill. From where I sat, I could already see much of the world. I looked into the distance, and saw a small village. In this village lived quite the array of people. There were farmers, scholars, children, parents, and a leader to bring it all together. Every one in this town wore red. I stood atop a cliff side and observed the small village for some time, and then I looked further and saw another village. This village was similar to the other, although I saw less people there and they wore blue. My eyes stopped in the center of the two villages, and what I saw confused me. The red males were fighting the blue males! The blood of the men was needlessly being spewed from the wounds of the fallen. I fell to my knees and just observed this inquisitive behavior. Their behavior was pointless. They fought amongst themselves when they could help the other thrive. It is pointless to die over meager squabbles.
These disputes are the main reason why you hierarchs wish to eliminate this world. But you forget. This is but a young race. They have yet to evolve into the knowledgeable beings that we are. You forget that we, when we were at this stage in our existence, were no different than these humans. This is why they must be spared. They must learn! Besides that; being human is an experience that not one of us will truly be able to comprehend.
