short statement of despair
IT DOESN’T

A sixteen year lifetime of pain.  My friends are gone.  My spirit is gone.  My ambition is gone.  My youth is gone.  My body is gone.  My parents are gone.  My desire to live is gone.  My desire to die is gone.
Where am I?
Where did I go?
What can I do?
What can I be?
What does it matter?
It doesn’t.
