a poem of hate, but please do read it in this brand new way!
BEFORE YOU READ:
-i want to try something a little different.
-it will be fun for you, but more for me! :P
-i want you to be an aggressive active reader.
-be prepared to examine each phrase each idea.
-for i really really want someone to write to me after reading this and tell me:
1. what you think it means or represents.
2. if you were anxious or frusterated as you read. why?
3. what assumptions you made while reading and whether they were wrong or right.
4. what symbolism did you pick out from the piece?

PLEASE!!
and i will not be offended if you want to offer just a general review or critique.

ready?
here goes:

like perspiration
it slides down his neck
rising over every bump
every bone
then dropping off the edge
back down
onto his fragile skin
trembling in utter fear
his very bones quivering
at the sight of her ravenous eyes
the sound of her painful voice
raspy and razor sharp
slicing his ear drums
like perspiration
it continues to slide
over his spine
feeling
tasting every curve of his body
immensely increasing
more and more
slide down his neck
down his back
one tiny drop from a tap
grown into a fiery waterfall
like perspiration
of a gross man enducing pleasure
but sweat it is not at all
it is the color of an apple
filled with poison
sending life into a sudden jolt
at a single bite
thick and sticky
wet and warm
like a passionate kiss
his trembling begins to subside
as the warmness
becomes hot
on his chilling knees
that fall to the ground
like metal on grass
and are followed
by the rest attached
face down in the dewy grass
blood envelops his hair
envelops the skin on his neck
his back
a shiny new coat
keeping his body warm
after losing all life
she stands over him
with expressions of rage
madness
utter hatred
smoke still expelling
from the 9mm steel
in sultry swirls and rings
like perspiration
they slowly glide
over flushed cheeks
from her eyes clamped shut
and down around pursed lips
enclosing her clenched jaws
like perspiration
they fall from her face
that breaks with relief
as the tears fall away
