And this is the way it is
You are born and crawl around
The only thing you see is ground
You bump into things

You feel too late
You can’t say it's love
You can’t say it's hate
Finally you tired of hurting

So you stop crawling outside
To crawl inside in vain
Because you only realize
You can’t hide from pain

So you wrap up in it
And it keeps you warm
While it keeps out life’s storm
Finally you can rest so you do

Nothing coming in and
Nothing going out
But wait is this what Death's about

You scratch, claw and fight
Your way through
Those comforting layers of pain
Around you

Outside pain now. yet still
Holding on tight
Finally letting go
In the midst of your fright

Faith Spreads your wings and
You experience Flight.
