My One and Only

The day you came to me I couldn't leave you alone,
Your face reminded me of my long lost home,
You showered me with roses and kissed me long and sweet,
I never want you to leave I say and I mean,
No one ever seems to find love till it slaps them in the face,
But this is different and done with so much grace,
My heard flutters at the sound of your voice,
And even though your away I wish you weren't,
But the love grows stronger with every moment and ever word,
I wish you could come home and be with me again,
So that I would be happy till I pass on with natural sense,
And the ties will not be broken until that day in time,
For now I think of you and that you're all mine.
