Special Confusion

There are so many challenges in our lives.
Colors that fade too quickly
and roads that end without a sign.

What carries me through each day,
is knowing that others are out there,
others that touch us in a unique way.

You don’t fall in love with every soul you meet,
but there are some out there that have something special.
Just to know them is to be rewarded.

We come across people everyday and you know when it’s something different
something real,
something Beautiful.

We like to challenge ourselves over and over again to make sure we know where we are. May lose ourselves along the way,
but at least we started the walk towards her.

We could even lose her along the way,
an even greater loss,
an even greater hill to climb.

Just knowing someone that can touch you that much,
how they can get inside your soul
and reach down grabbing every inch on the way through.

Either tearing it a part or healing the wound
It can overwhelm you to the point of confusion.
But something about her moves us.

We need to figure out what it is.

Could come up empty handed but at least the moment
I could share with her.
Moments like that create something.

Finding out what that something is
can be exciting and disappointing.
