Before the Dream
I stand alone in this darkness looking straight,
Bright lights at the end of the road but I wait,
I feel nervous and now it's getting cold,
Something's making sure I don't know what I hold.
Although I fear for my life I'm not scared.
I take a deep breath and my lungs fill with air,
I swore to be honest till the day that I die!
But I might break that promise, by telling a lie
I know i will be punished, but this is too big
I've always been loyal except, this one time that I slid
And this is my repayment for all the good that I've done?
There's only so much damage you can do with your tongue
But all things aside, I'll hold my head high,... and walk on!
