Raise a glass to Democracy
The people’s whim
And hypocrisy
Never question – Never doubt
Or you’ll know
What it’s all about
Just follow blindly through the night
The leader you
Believe is right.
Now heed your leader’s marching call:
“Those who question
Ever fall!
For knowledge is the sickness, and devotion is the cure.
Destroy the first with swiftness
And He shall love you more.”

Anarchy is not the answer!
Tyranny just spells disaster.
Think before you start a fight
For this time might will not make right!
Democracy becomes corrupt
Autocracy waits to erupt.
Stop your living in the past
And fresh ideas will flood at last.

Raise a glass to what you will,
But every drink
Makes it harder to fill.
