in a room where no one is
listening

Crick Crack is the sound
of the old trees in a forest
where nothing is
happening

Flip Flap is the music
of wings carrying a bird
who has nothing to
sing

Swish Swash is the voice
of the ocean running against
a beach where no one is
playing

Tick Tock is the passage
of time that no one is spending
to enjoy the things that make life worth
living
