Everyone has had confusing relationships
Indecisive as the rain is deep, he checks his calendar—
another Monday to see her.
The butterflies give him an unforgettable feeling.

No one ever told him to make up his mind;
he leaves her in limbo.
The newfallen snow crunches beneath his feet.

He’ll be there as long as the moon brings in the tides—
she doesn’t need convincing.
He captures a moment to smell the closing of autumn.

A new season brings brand new feeling, but she’s the exception.
Still caught in neutral, she trusts his eyes anyway.
He takes in the rich sunrise of early December.
He remembers to live life for each beautiful moment,
and every chance is worth taking.

He makes her laugh just to see her smile,
and she smiles just to see him blush a hearty shade of rose.

He only keeps her wondering because he wonders himself.
She knows for sure but will never tell him.
