and idea, odd thoughts for a tale i wish to write.
A sane mind, in an insane mind by Anthony Knight

With hands of snow and a body so cold, is when my villain appears.
Eye’s so black and breath of fire, it looks onto my frozen image.
Fear takes hold making composure and sanity leave me.
Madness takes me and I long for a house of pillowed walls.
Darkness grows near, with its morbid whispers so clear.
A captive is my body, my mind it’s hostage and slave.
Normal is a fading ideal
The shadows now speak more truth then lies.
Speech patters become distorted and find I merrier it’s voice.
We whisper our own truths now wishing smiles everywhere.
I see not devils but my saints and heroes.
Light grows mad with us, and sends it’s angels
The white army approaches, and we show my fangs,
They advance, with a feather shooting cannon,
I have only reality from allusions, and hands of ice.
Their weapon makes no sounds, yet I hit the ground
The feather pioson take hold of me.
Retreat is sounded and the shadows fall back.
I am a dragged from my friends, and pulled into a white cell.
They inject me.
They untie me and feed me a pill.
My world dies, and my friends only a day dream.
The army of doctor’s ripped me from my world.
Reminding me of my faults.
No more playing in the snow, I am told.
Then reminded it was bedtime.
With my heavy eyelids, I think “will my friends be really tomorrow?”
