Know You're Near

Oh how I've been hurt once again
Broken down and torn apart by my beloved friend
And she doesn't want to be near me anymore
But because of You it's not gonna be how it was before
Lonliness will not take over, for You have given me hope
Jesus, You're my wholeness and my life, and I have no reason to mope
No matter where I go, You'll never leave my side
So I can face this world. I don't have to run and hide
You've planned great things for my life
Healed me when my emotions had undergone the knife
Jesus You've been nothing but faithful through everything
So though I'm knocked down, praise to You I bring
I know You didn't do this to me
As this soul feels the love I cannot see
And I'm not empty because You fill me
I will get back up on my feet again
And I will praise You for all of my real friends
Especially for the friend You are, cause You'll be with me to no end
And I'll spend eternity with You
In a heavenly world filled with Your truth
No one and nothing in this world can take me from You
I am wholly Your's. Do anything You plan to do.
For I know You will only make me
Not break me
Your love is all I need
Guess I had to learn the hard way
Not to put my hope in friends of today
But to put my faith, life, and heart in the Lord that is with me always
