As the beaming sun dulls its light
Waves crash against the garden with no warning
Clouds darken, as fear creeps through the vines
Thunder keeps cracking, heavy and relentless
Followed by agony as I wonder in hopelessness
How euphoria can come from so much affliction
As the clouds descend, the worst is yet to come
Rain becomes ferocious with hunger
Harder and harder, seeming impossible to stop
The leaves billow with extreme winds
Only bruised fruit survives, as fallen leaves circle
Reality at its boundary, hardship seems inescapable
Yet through the ink coloured sky, a sparkling ray shines
The storm dies down, tranquility comes into effect
A sunset appears, giving the garden time to rejuvenate
Shock and fear comes to a halt, As soil starts to absorb
The wind has finally ceased, all is calm and settled
Once again my imagination has failed to comprehend a miracle.
