continued version of part four
Ice starts to spread over the body of the Hydra like a developing rash. The Element Warlocks try to stop it from spreading using any spell they can thing of. They cannot stop it, as the spell has is working on the inside of the demonic Hydra. The Element Warlocks can only watch, as they slowly lose the battle. Combat cracks the silver whip deciding the match to be over. By the magic of the silver whip, everything is back to the way it was at the beginning of the match.

"Well Dragon Guardians, it seems you are the better team. We wish you the best of luck for the rest of the exams." speaks Rick. "Please accept this gift as it is tradition to give the winner of the match a gift."

The Element Warlocks toss six spells that contain elemental spells like the raging firestorm or the twister spell. The Dragon Guardians catch the scrolls putting them away into a secret pocket. They bow to the Element Warlocks thanking them for the gift. The Element Warlokcs smile to them snapping their fingers which makes them disappear in a puff of smoke. The Dragon Guardians leave the stadium flying in the saddles of their dragons. They soar through the sky returning to the girl dormitory/hotel. The Dragon Guardians jump down to the balconey, as their dragons go hunt for food. They discover Yuko to be sitting on a cushion in the main room drinking some tea. The Dragon Guardians have a feeling that they are in trouble about the first exam battle.

"Good battle, very interesting to watch especially since you were showing what you all could do to everyone including opponents to come!" shouts Yuko. "Go to your room and sleep on it!"

The Dragon Guardians do what she says not wishing to anger her much longer. They quickly fell to sleep being tired from the brutal exam. Their new warlocks hats are hanging on the bed post holding a treasured feeling to them. The Dragon Guardians hoped more opponents like the Element Warlocks are still in the gladiator exams for them to fight but first they need to get stronger. They will have to wait until the morning because their body refuses to anything but sleep. The morning sun shines into their rooms the next day waking the Dragon Guardians from their slumber. The Dragon Guardians hurried down the stairs, Yukito and Fai falling down the stairs as they try to get dress and run down the stairs at the same time, running to meet Yuko in the courtyard. Bolting at top speed, they make it to the courtyard on time bowing to Andrea.

"Yesterday's match has got me thinking that you should make a pact with your dragons. This will mix your own elemental charka with their dragon charka allowing you to last longer in battles. However, the level of your skills do not change so don't try anything stupid. It will also give your new kind of magic advantages." says Yuko. Syaoran looks up to her with an interested look. "Here, read these scrolls before you make your decision on the pact because you can never change your mind after making the pact.

The Dragon Guardians nod to their teacher, as she gives them each a very large scroll. Andrea watches her students spread themselves around the courtyard making themselves comfortable before starting to read the scrolls. Syaoran sits up against a pillar with Sakura resting her head on his lap. The Dragon Guardians read up on the pact becoming more eager to sign it each second.

By signing the pact in blood, not only will the Dragon Guardians be able to use powerful spells but they will also get legendary dragon gifts. The first gift is dragon speed which makes them much faster than normal warriors. The second gift is dragon agility that makes them more agile, able to pull of surpising attacks. The third gift is dragon stamina making them able to last a longer period of time in battles than most warriors. The last gift is dragon sight which makes them a better scout and gives them a another kind of sight which has been long forgotten. Unforunately, there is no special gift in the world that can help with strength but hard and tedious tasks that make no sense. The Dragon Guardians roll up the scrolls deciding to sign the pact. They walk to their room finding Yuko to be drinking tea again.

"Yuko, we have decided to sign the pact." declares Syaoran. "Please allow us to sign the pact."

"I cannot stop you as the person can only sign the pact by their own free own will." advises Yuko. "Sign these parchments and by the next month the pact will have done its work." Five rice paper parchments slide down from her sleeves laying on the table.

The Dragon Guardians sign the parchments without any arguements using the dragon seal they got from their dragons to make it official. The parchments disappear in a puff of smoke the moment the last dragon seal was pressed onto the paper. The Dragon Guardians run back down to the courtyard training in the new battle plans. Yuko can only admire their spirit wondering how lucky she is to have students like them. The Dragon Guardians train long and hard throughout the day trying to prove themselves trying to prove themselves worthy to the gods to get the four dragon gifts. Yuko comes down from the room standing up against a pillar. The Dragon Guardians stop what they are doing figuring that their next match is coming up. Suddenly, they begin to feel werid like a new power rising in them. It blends in with their own magic making them more stronger. They toss the hats to Yuko, as they bring their cloak's hoods above their heads and bring down their dragon masks in front of their face. The moment the mask came down, their eyes began to change becoming vertical slit pupils. The Dragon Guardians grin being amazed by their new power to use. They start running off to the stadium testing out their dragon speed gift. The Dragon Guardians blast past the slow-moving citizens almost a blur to them and then something happened. Some sort of vision came to them showing them that they are going to crash into a wagon. The Dragon Guardians open up their real eyes finding a wagon just to be pulling out of the alley. They slide underneath the wagon saving themselves from a brutual crash.

"That vision must be something you get from recieving the dragon sight gift." whispers Syaoran. "This gift is going to make battles and everyday life interesting."

"Just focus on our battle we have coming." says Sakura shaking her head at her boyfriend.

The Dragon Guardians arrive at the stadium thirty minutes before the match is going to start giving them enough time to look around. Syaoran goes to check on Julin seeing if she is fine. His friends follow behind him having nothing better to do. Syaoran sighs to himself wondering what will they think of Julin. He finds her stall to have no customers at the moment making him wonder how many customers she has gotten so far. Syaoran walks up to her stall noticing that Julin is sitting lazingly on her handcrafted stool.

"Hey Julin, how has the sales been going?" asks Syaoran.

"My sales have been doing very good especially since after what I saw yesterday. You have learned how to be careful in situations but you are still reckless with your choosing of spells." declares Julin. "Today, I want you to be extra careful."

"Why is that?" inquires Syaoran.

"I heard some rumors that today you are going up against Nazgul Hunters who have trained Nazguls as their creatures to help them. I know it's hard to believe but I have did some snooping and everything about them is true." implies Julin. "Please be careful today."

"Don't worry, I will be careful in the battle today." speaks Syaoran hugging her to make Julin feel better.

The Dragon Guardians leave the stall, as new customers start to come in. Syaoran ponders what Julin has told him wondering if it is true. Sakura notices him deep in thought wondering what he is thinking about. She dare doesn't ask him, as he might be making up a battle plan. The Dragon Guardians return to the stadium walking through the front doors. They sit up against the wall not knowing anything about the Nazgul Hunters. People start arriving to their seats waiting for the match to begin. Combat starts the match bringing down his hand. Another vision comes to the Dragon Guardians showing a thousand of thunderbolts coming right at them. Syaoran looks up to the sky seeing a Nazgul Hunter casting a spell.

However, Syaoran is faster with his spell drawing power from the sun. He casts a fireball spell throwing the ball of fire at the Nazgul Hunter. The fireball knocks the hunter off balance unabling him to cast the spell. The Nazgul Hunters jump down from the saddles landing safely on the ground. The Dragon Guardians sense the presence of great magic from the Nazgul Hunters wielding their dragon swords. They bolt towards the Nazgul Hunters using the speed gift to gain more speed. The people in the stands are amazed by how fast the Dragon Guardians are moving barely able to watch them. Yukito casts a wind spell blasting himself upwards into the sky. Small gusts of wind swirl around Yukito's body allowing him to float up there for a short period of time. However, Yukito has managed to blend the spell with the wind around him allowing him to stay up there a longer period of time than usual. He pinpoints the exact spot to attack the Nazgul Hunters knowing that he has only one shot. Yukito dives to the middle of the Nazgul Hunters shooting off like a cannon. He comes at them with so much speed that one crash could possibly kill him. Yukito grabs a spear out of his quiver having an gut feeling for another weapon. He whacks one of the Nazgul Hunters across the head with his spear using his opponent as a cushion. He lands on his opponent finding the Nazgul Hunter only to be a humand size wooden puppet.

"These Nazgul Hunters are only wooden puppets; a diversion to waste our energy." declares Yukito. "Stop; its a trap."

"Yukito, watch your left! An unknown spell is heading your way!" shouts Kalin using a spell to knock Yukito off his feet.

The unknown spell barely misses Yukito,, which was a firespin spell. Fai diminshes the spell with a water blast spell dosing out the flames. Yukito returns to his friends, as they try to find whoever they are really battling against. The Dragon Guardians tried to use their dragon sight but a magical barrier spell is stopping them. They stand together in a close circle keeping each other safe from attacks. Six glowing runes appear on the ground ten paces from them, as six figures come out of the ground. They wear white uniforms with strange symbols unknown to the Dragon Guardians holding strange carved staffs. The Dragon Guardians stand their ground, their instincts telling them not to move a muscle. The new strange opponents open their eyes staring at the Dragon Guardians. A smile comes across their faces creeping out a lot of people. This also angers Syaoran to a very dangerous degree of his mind.

"Well done Dragon Guardians, none of you have fallen for our cheap magic even if you did attack the wooden puppets. Moreover, none of you will survive any longer against the rest of our spells because we are the White Mages."

Not what the White Mages expected, the Dragon Guardians did not flinch at the name making the White Mages angry. The White Mages wave their staffs around casting a spell in a foreign language. The Dragon Guardians grip tightly to the hilts of their dragon swords unable to tell what the spell is going to be. They can only guess the spell is going to be painful and something from another country or ancient civilization. They can only hope the speed of dragon and the dragon agility gift can help them dodge the spell and anymore that might come. The ends of the White Mage's staffs begin to glow a white light, as the spell is almost ready. The light shines brightly and the White Mages thrust their staffs at the Dragon Guardians firing the spell. Six blasts of telekinetic energy come flying at the Dragon Guardians giving off a strong sense of powerful magic.

The Dragon Guardians cast a spell bringing forth a tower shield to their hands. They hold the shields in front of them hoping it will protect them from the spell. The first blast of telekinetic energy hits them hand and the rest smash upon them with unrelenting wrath. The tower shield protected the Dragon Guardians from the brute force of the spells and still remaining strong for further use. The Dragon Guardians march towards the White Mages holding the tower shields out in front of them to protect themselves from anymore spells. The tower shield is a large rectangular piece of metal that is big enough to protect the body of a normal size person. It is better shield than the kite shield, as the kite shield is smaller and only works with long distance attacks than close encounters. The Dragon Guardians had spreaded themselves across the field hoping the maneuver will decrease the brute force of any spell from the White Mages. The White Mages start waving their staffs again casting another spell. The Dragon Guardians hurried up their pace hoping they can get to their opponents before the spell is ready. However, the White Magers fire off the spell casting them in element form. The Dragon Guardians managed to dodge the spells even do the tower shield was in their way. Syaoran is in front of his friends taking on the leader. The leader of the White Mages hides himself behind a bigger robes, which really don't fit him, holding a weirder-looking staff in his hand with its curved handle.

Syaoran jumps at the leader bringing his sword above the leader's head. The leader raises his staff to the attack deflecting the blow. Syaoran locks weapons with the leader reaching for his pouch to get a dagger. The leader's eyes flicker down to the dagger in Syaoran's hand seeing that he had been tricked. The leader get his staff free from Syaoran casting a quick spell. Just then, Syaoran kicks the leader in the face knocking the staff from him. Syaoran picks up the staff causing the match to be over. Getting a hold of your opponent's weapon ends the match with your team being victorious. Syaoran helps the leader off the ground seeing that he gave the poor guy a bloody nose.

"Sorry about that, I kind of get carried away in a battle most of the time especially when I go up against someone stronger than me." speaks Syaoran. "That is usually a rare thing to happen."

"Don't worry about it, I am exactly the same way. Here, I want you to have my staff. You deserve it for beating me and your friends can have the other staffs." declares the leader. "The staffs increase your spells by fifty percent and you will be able to use telekinetic spells."

The Dragon Guardians bow very low to the White Mages for recieving such fine gifts. The White Mages bow to the Dragon Guardians and left the stadium the same way the Element Warlocks did. The Dragon Guardians also make haste in leaving deciding to walk home this time. They had sheathed their dragon swords and are carrying the tower shields on their backs. They hold their new staffs in their hands not believing they have a powerful magical object in their hands. The Dragon Guardians keep sensing a magical energy from the staffs making them anxious to start their training with their new weapon. They hurried up their pace arriving at the girl dormitory hotel very quickly. Yuko waits for them in the courtyard having more scrolls for them to read about their staffs. However, the scrolls only tell them the history of the staffs which means the Dragon Guardians will have to find out themselves on how to use the staffs. The Dragon Guardians head up to their rooms going to get some sleep from the hard match. They unstrap their weapons from their bodies placing them in the trunk at the end of their beds. They get out of their uniforms placing them on top of the trunks. The Dragon Guardians get under the covers going to sleep. Sakura rests up against Syaoran hugging him around the waist. Syaoran smiles to her sleep beside her. Those two sleep in their loving embrace, maybe for the last time as an army of dark creatures march towards the city.

The army of dark creatures is a new army of dark creatures to the country of Enthranx, as they thought to be peaceful and a ally in a war. The army marches throughtout the night in their sleek silver armour. Nothing stops them not even the sentry posts that were burned to the ground. With his last breath, a young sentry guard casts an firework spell to warn the city of the opposing army. The fireworks shoots from his hand exploding high in the sky. Multicolor lights warn the city's guards of the opposing army making them run to give out the signal.

"Sound the signal!" shouts a guard at the top of a tower. "They are only five clicks away from the city!"

A guard on top of another tower starts beating on a drum giving out the signal to the bell tower guard at city hall. The city hall guard breaks down the door to the tower pulling down on the rope. The bell rings loudly throughout the city telling the citizens to evacuate the city. The Dragon Guardians jump out of bed putting on their uniforms. They kick the trunk open grabbing their weapons. The Dragon Guardians run out of the hotel and into the panicked streets of the city. They take their own route to city hall hoping that Combat is there. The Dragon Guardians jump in front of the building findind the area to be crammed of civic soldiers. The civic soldiers move out of the way for the Dragon Guardians allowing them to pass through. The Dragon Guardians discover Combat to be talking to the mayor of the city who smiles the moment he sees the Dragon Guardians.

"The protectors of the of the country have come to save us!" declares the mayor. "Please save us from the coming doom!"

"Sorry, but the contracts we signed to allow us into the exams prevents us from particpating in any battles outside of the exams." speaks Yukito.

"Here, I give you the combat headbands that declare you as rookie combat masters." declares Combat giving them the headbands. "I'm only doing this because of the current circumstances we are in. And take these combat swords also."

The Dragon Guardians take the gifts tying the headbands around their forehead. They strap on the sword's sheath around their back giving their secondary weapons from Ana to Combat for the time being. The Dragon Guardians walk down the empty streets of the city for the north gate. They arrive at the gate jumping over the gate as it had been barred shut. The Dragon Guardians discover the opposing army to be there wielding both swords. They dash towards the opposing army holding their swords in front of them. The opposing army charges towards the Dragon Guardians deciding to meet them head on. However, first they pull back their hoods showing them to be elves. Not only that, but the elves from the hidden elf village who had been ressurrected from the dead and brain washed to be evil.

The Dragon Guardians stop in their tracks not knowing if the should still attack. The army comes closer to the Dragon Guardians giving them few seconds to make a decision. Syaoran attacks his former allies and his friends follow right behind him. He strikes swords with a dark elf soldier holding nothing back. The Dragon Guardians use the spells they have learned only using the spells to stay alive. The Drago Guardians battle against the dark elves losing the battle. The elves have no problem about attacking the Dragon Guardians but the Dragon Guardians still do not know if they should attack their former allies. They are kicked to the ground by some elves feeling the cold metal of swords up against their throats. Their heads are turned to the distant hills making them look at who commands them. The Dragon Guardians gasp horrified, as they see the Shogun and his many lords. They also see his new lord, who is really a female. The Dragon Guardians gasp horrified again, as the female lord is Sara. The Shogun snaps his fingers making Sara going into battle.

Syaoran cannot believe that his younger elf sister has allied herself with the Shogun making his temper rise. Sara comes charging down the hill for the Dragon Guardians. She uses her elf speed coming at them with incredible speed. They land on the ground a few feet from each other staring at each other. She picks Syaoran to be the first one to attack wielding a dark sword. Syaoran's eyes become narrower vertically each minute, as his temper rises by the minute. The powers of his scar begin to take control of him giving him unspeakable power. He places his hand on the elf holding him setting the elf on fire. Syaoran rises to his feet depsite the elf threatening to slit his throat. He casts a fireblast spell putting a huge gap in the elf's chest. The elf falls to the ground with the smell of barbeque coming from him. Syaoran finishes off the elves holding his friends with a flamethrower spell burning them to ashes.

"Retreat to the inside of the city's walls and try to find soem shelter. I will hold them long enough for the all of you to escape to safety." speaks Syaoran.

"What about you?" asks Kalin.

"There is something I need to finish between me and the Shogun that ends today. Moreover, if the army get inside the city everybody who didn't evacuate the city will be killed." admits Syaoran. "Now get going!" His friends leave him behind but Sakura stays behind. She runs up to him hugging him very tightly, afraid to let him go as he might die.

She lets go of him running towards the city. Syaoran picks up his two swords facing to his charging sister. He charges right at Sara using his dragon speed gift to charge swiftly They both strike at each other at the same moment, swords colliding against each other. They spin themselves in the air trying to strike at each other one more time. The swords bounce off each other making sparks fly. They land on the ground a few feet from each other staring at each other. Sara weaves her sword in front of her then holding out in front of her with two hands on the hilt. Syaoran only smiles to Sara bringing his two swords together as he chants in dragonish tongue. The two swords glow a white light fusing into one sword. This sword is called the combat dragon sword giving it's wielder fifty percent more magical strength. Syaoran twirls the sword in his hand holding it above his head with two fingers at the tip of the blade. Sara grits her teeth together charging at Syaoran. She weaves an complicated strike pattern at him, which is impossible to stop for a lot of fighters. However, Syaoran uses his dragon sight slowing down the movements of the pattern. He deflects each one of the attacks making Sara's sword bounce off the blade each strike. Syaoran strikes back at her making Sara back away with each strike. He keeps striking at her knocking Sara down to the ground and her sword is kicked away from her hand.

Sara looks up the blade on her chin sweating as she is going to be killed. Suddenly, something strikes Syaoran in the back knocking him down to the ground. The Shogun helps Sara off the ground giving her sword to her. Sara looks over to Syaroan finding him to be on his knees with his combat dragon sword pierced into the ground. A grin is across his face, a look that tells he is up to something.

"What are you grinning about?" demands the Shogun.

"That battle was just to bring you into my trap. Combat dragon sword, unleash your true power!" grins Syaoran. "Ring of fire destroy these enemies of the royal family!"

Flames start to spark out of his sword plunging down into the ground. The ground start to heat up intensely, as flames start to come out of the ground. The Shogun and his lords teleport out of the area leaving their dark elf behind. Syaoran glances over to the city wondering if Sakura is safe and hopes that she will forgive him. The flames grow bigger and the heat rises with the flames. The spell bursts out of the ground capturing everyone in the area. The dark elves are burned to ashes by the intense flames, as raging wails fill the area. The spell lasts for two hours leaving nothing of the area. Sakura and her friends leave the city hoping that he is all right. Soma trails behind them also worrying about Syaoran. They walk through the north city gate finding the once beautiful landscape to be nothing but a charred battlefield with small clutches of fire still burning. Sakura prays to the gods that Syaoran is all right and not dead like everything in the area. They walk past black skeletons of the dark elves finding the ground to be littered with them.

They hear a moan in the distant making them run to the source of the moan. Sakura leads the group hoping that it is Syaoran. They find him laying on the ground with his cloak draped around his body. Yukito pushes him over with his foot checking to see if Syaoran is all right. They find him to find his face all black from the smoke but otherwise unharmed from the dangerous spell. Syaoran wipes the ashes off his face rising to his feet. Althought, he has much difficultly standing up so Kuro and Fai help him stand up. He pushes them away sheathing his combat dragon sword into it's sheath as he walks towards the city. The moment they enter into the city, the Dragon Guardians are cheered by the civic soldiers saluting to them. They head to the hotel wanting to get on the trail of the Shogun. Yuko waits for them at the door of the hotel sighing in relief that her students are okay. The Dragon Guardians head to their room grabbing their bags from the closet.

"I guess you will be heading after the Shogun to make him pay after what he did." sighs Yuko. "I cannot stop you but we need to stop at the Enthranx castle for some stuff first."

"Why? The sooner we get on the Shogun's trail, the better chance we have of finding of him." declares Syaoran.

"We are just going to get some supplies from the castle and some information on where the Shogun might be heading to or what country the Shogun is controlling now." speaks Yuko. "Plus I need to get somethings from the castle."

The Dragon Guardians agree to go to the castle for the supplies Yuko needs calling their dragons from the balconey. Their Guardian dragons land in front of the hotel and the Dragon Guardians jump down to the saddles. Yuko sits behind Syaoran wrapping her arms around him. The Guardians flap their large wings gaining height in the sky. The Dragon Guardians relax to the breeze blowing on their face, allowing their dragons to do the flying. They fall asleep in the saddles trying to recover the sleep they lost. Fire leads the pack onto a strong zephyr gliding on the zephyr which happens to be going to the Enthranx castle. The smell of smoke fills the air waking the tired Dragon Guardians from their sleep.

"Where is the smoke coming from?" wonders Fai.

"It feels like it is coming from the Enthranx castle like they are under attack. We better land on the ground to not attract any attention in case the castle is under attack." declares Syaoran. "After that, we will proceed on foot and eliminate any problems there might be."

The Guardian dragons glide down to the ground landing in the patch of woodlands. The Dragon Guardians jump down from the saddles waving good bye to their dragons and Yuko as they take off. They left the staffs with their teacher in case anything happens. The Dragon Guardians make their way to the Enthranx castle is not under attack. The smell of smoke gets stronger each time they get closer to the castle. As they climb over the last hill, they can feel the heat of a fire making them wield their swords. On top of the hill, the Dragon Guardians discover a battle to be brewing in front of the castle. The Dragon Guardians dash down the hill preparing to take down anyone who stands in their way. They chop off the heads of six assassins coming at them. The Dragon Guardians take down any assassin in their way using any attack on them. However, something struck them from the sky causing many damage to them. However, Syaoran took most of the damage as he had jumped in front of the attack. He was using elf sight, which was much like dragon sight but its ability to see things is much faster. His friends start to rise to their feet but Syaoran stays lying on the ground too hurt to fight. He brings to drift into a strange white light finding himself in front of the Enthranx gods and goddesses. Syaoran drops to his knees bowing to the celestial beings Back on the battlefield, his friends are worried about him starting to think that he is dead. Sakura lays his head on her lap wiping the dirt off his face with her sleeve.

"Rise to your feet, my child. I have called you here to give you a gift to help you in your struggle." speaks the Fire goddess. "I, Ashura, want to give you the fire seal and take away that dreadful scar on your back."

"Thank you, my goddess of fire. You don't know how much this pleases me." says Syaoran rising to his feet as tears swell up in his eyes. His first tears since the death of his parents.

"Before I do this for you, I want you to answer one question for me." asks Ashura. "Who do you sought to protect?"

The question hits Syaoran hard, as he doesn't know the answer himself. He begins to think about the country of Enthranx, Queen Lavender, his friends then coming to a image of Sakura. More images of Sakura start to fill his mind making him gasp as he has found the answer.

"I seek out to protect the person I love, my girlfriend Sakura, and my teammates from anyone who wishes harm to them. Until the day I die, I will not stop protecting her and my friends no matter the danger." declares Syaoran. "As you all as my witness, I vow always to protect Sakura and my friends no matter the danger"

Ashura smiles to the answer whispering the enchantment for the fire seal. Syaoran begins to glow a silver light, as the magical words spin around him. The scar on his back begin to heal, as the curse of the dark seal is lifted off him. The runes of the fire seal burn themselves onto his skin revealing themselves all over his body. Syaoran falls to the ground returning to his body. He opens his eyes finding Sakura to be crying. He reaches out his hand to her brushing the side of his hand against her smooth skin. She senses something different about him like a heavy burden has finally been lifted. Syaoran holds a kunai dagger in each hand glaring at the army of assassins. He grins as many of them backed away from him. Without warning, Syaoran charges at them roaring tothe night sky. His friends follow behind with their swords in their hands trying to catch up.

Syaoran dives underneath a swinging sword stabbing the assassing in the chest. He smashes his foot to the assassin's head crushing the skull. The Dragon Guardians fought their way to the Enthranx castle trying to save anyone who still might be in the castle. Syaoran returns to using his combat dragon sword only proving to be more of monster than a weapon. His friends stare at him seeing that no assassin can match the skill of the blade against him. He leaves a trail of dead assassins but his expression is calm, eager to kill, and relaxed instead of the usual agonized expression of pain they get from him. The Dragon Guardians reach the north gate of the castle and of course finding it to be barred shut. They sit outside the castle trying to come up with a plan. They can't storm the castle, as they don't know what is on the other side. The Dragon Guardians also don't want to cause any damage to the infrastructure of the castle. Syaoran gets an idea drawing out a kunai dagger from its pouch. He carves a rune spell onto the gate putting five of the same rune spell on different places of the gate. The runes begin to glow a reddish light burning through the wood. After it is done, Syaoran pushes on the gate making it fall to the ground. The Dragon Guardians walk into the castle holding out their dragon swords. Their first sight disgusts them making both Kuro and Fai puke in disgust. Sakura and Kaling lean against Syaoran looking away from the sight.

Inside the castle, the ground is littered with the dead corpses of innocent civilians and those of the Enthranx guard. No matter who it was, neither baby of child, survived the slaughter of whoever is responsible for this. The Dragon Guardians walk down the street trying not to look at the disgusting sight. They hear screaming coming from the main hall making them dash for it. The deeper they get in the castle, the more teh sight gets disgusting. Syaoran makes a turn leading his team into an old two storey building that show no matters of importance like if it is a house of nobility. Syaoran bolts down to the basement quickly coming back up with a trunk. He opens up the trunk taking out six bows and six quivers of arrows, fletched with swan feathers.

The bows are quite the masterpiece, each one of thme looking they were handcrafted by the gods of elves. The bows fit snugly in their hands and the bowstrings are just perfectly tight. The bows are made out of the finest oak wood from the Enthranx forest, handcrafted by the finest bowmakers of the castle and imbue with magic by the first Dragonmaster. The Dragon Guardians slide the strap over their head running out the door. They dash down the street with the bows in their hand coming closer to the castle. The Dragon Guardians start to get a strange feeling like something bad is going to happen making them nock an arrow to the bowstrings. They hear footsteps behind them serparate into two alleys. Twelve lines of Dragonslayers came into view with their dragon skulls as helms making the Dragon Guardians very nervous. Syaoran and Sakura rest up against the brick wall not knowing if they should continue with the mission. Sakura grabs Syaoran's hand always feeling better when being near him.

"Sakura?" asks Syaoran.

"Yes, Syaoran?" replies Sakura.

"Please stay alive when we are battling today. I can't afford to lose you because you are too special for me." He pulls her to him very close, their noses almost touching. "If you survive, I promise to marry you the moment this mess is cleared up."

"And what if the Shogun evades our attempt to capture and manages to get away?" inquires Sakura blushing at the thought of marriage.

"It won't matter what happens to the Shogun, it will be just about me and you." declares Syaoran pulling her in closer to him.

Their top part of their body lightly touches making Sakura breathe deeply. A scream from the palace pierces the moment making them run for the castle. The Dragon Guardians manage to get into the castle before the gate closes finding themselves in alot of trouble. Dozens of bounty hunters and dragonslayers are in the courtyard making the Dragon Guardians gulp in fear. The colour of their clothes is blood red telling the Dragon Guardians that these guys are no joke. Syaoran looks to the middle of the courtyard finding Lavender to be laying on the ground in a unresponsive state. He eyes flicker up to the Shogun who holds a sword stained with blood. Something snaps inside of Syaoran making his power level unstable. Through the glass ball of the gods, a bright light like fire burst through the crystal ball making the celestial beings cover their eyes. The crystal ball snaps in two blasting the seers of the gods away from their spot. The telekinetic god tries to see what is happening only able to see through the eyes of a rat.

"I guess the fire seal wasn't strong enough to keep the monster under control, huh Ashura?" speaks the Thunder goddess, Rhea.

"Don't you talk about my son like that, Rhea. The plan is working perfectly." declares Ashura. "My young Syaoran will vanquish our greatest enemy, the Shogun, priest of darkness and servant to the king of darkness. Then we will wage war against the country of darkness and will kill the dark king!"

The other celestial beings applaude Ashura for her brilliant plan watching Syaoran with keen interest. Syaoran marches towards the Shogun, his footsteps leaving clutches of fire. A bounty hunter steps in Syaoran's way but Syaoran slices the head off the bounty hunter. His friends run in front of him striking down anyone in their way. Syaoran has a clear path to the Shogun who is starting to sweat. Out of nowhere, Syaoran charges at the Shogun using the dragon speed gift to his advantage. The Shogun never saw it coming only the feel of Syaoran's fire punch. Syaoran sends the Shogun flying form Lavender dropping to his knees to make sure Lavender is all right. Lavender is barely breathing making Syaoran furious at the Shogun. However, the Shogun has managed to escape seeing that it isn't a good time for him to battle Syaoran. Syaoran picks up Lavender holding her in his arms. His friends sit around him feeling his pain. Sakura places her hand on Syaoran's shoulder trying to comfort her future husband. A white light shines onto Syaoran making his eyes go all silver. Syaoran starts to chant in an ancient making runes appear all around him. A silver beam comes out of him hitting Lavender in the back. A Dragonslayer, out to finish the job, struggles towards Syaoran barely being able to hold his pike. The Dragonslayer sneaks behind Kuro stabbing him in the back. He picks an axe off the ground cutting off Fai's head. The Dragonslayer wonders why it is so easy for him to kill them only realizing that each of them is in a trance by the spell. The spell stops, as Queen Lavender is okay. The Dragonslayer advances upon Yukito trying to strike him down. However, Yukito is too fast with his sword cutting the Dragonslayer in the chest.

The Dragonslayer leans forward trying to stab Yukito with his last breath. Syaoran pounces onto the Dragonslayer blasting him with a fireblast spell. The Dragonslayer falls to the ground with a hole in its chest. The remaining Dragon Guardians fall to their knees mourning over the death of Fai and Kuro. They curse the Shogun wishing centuries of pain to him. They stand back on their feet gripping the hilts of their swords tightly. They chase after the Shogun using their dragon sight to track him down.

They can track him down by sensing the magic aura that leaves a trail. Each magic aura is different from person to person depending on what kind of person you are. A blackish aura indicates that you are evil to heart while a silvery aura defines you as a heavenly person. Yet sometimes, the aura is not always around especially if you had a curse on you.

"Use attack formation delta when we find him. Give him everything you got and don't hold back." shouts Syaoran.

His friends nod to him completely agreeing with him. The Dragon Guardians start to figure out that he is heading to the time well to escape his doomed fate in this time making them take a shortcut. The time well is the most magical place in Enthranx, as it allows anyone to go anywhere in time expect backwards in time only forwards. The Dragon Guardians bolt down the path heading for the time well. The last turn brings the time well into view and also an injured Dragonmaster. The Dragon Guardians make a bolting dash for the time well hoping that Seishiro isn't dead. Kalin is the first one to make it to Seishiro checking over his body for any severe injuries. Dragonmaster Seishiro has a large bloodly gash across his chest unallowing him to continue living. Unexpectly, Yukito falls to the ground with a spear sticking out of his back. Dark elves begin running down the corridors to the time well attacking with mass numbers. Seishiro mumbles a spell putting up a protective barrier around teh area of the time well.

"Run, Dragon Guardians. Save yourself from the same fate as your friends have suffered! Jump into the time well and follow after the Shogun to make him pay!" mutters Dragonmaster Seishiro teleporting Lavender into the protective barrier. "Take Lavender with you so she can be spared from the faith of this world."

Syaoran picks up Lavender carrying her on his back. The Dragon Guardians jump into the time well falling to another time period. Back in Enthranx, the world is taken over by the King of Darkness, as his army kills off anyone who opposes their new king. A cloud of darkness falls upon the world blocking out the sun and ending all hope. Plants and sacred sites were destroyed by the chaos caused by the Dark King. The Dragon Guardians come out at the end of the time well finding themselves in another time period. Sakura and Kalin help Syaoran out of the well since he is carrying Lavender. They find themselves in a forest, away from any kind of civilization. They find some shelter under some trees, as it starts to rain. The Dragon Guardians use some spells to make the place more suitable until the morning. Syaoran places Lavender on his bed roll finding her to still be unconcious. Sakura and Kalin look at him wondering what is going through his mind. They both look at each other having a idea that makes them crack a devious smile on their sad faces. Sakura and Kalin leap at Syaoran knocking him down to the ground. They hold him tightly cuddling up next to him.

"Hey, what is this all about?" asks Syaoran.

"We are just holding you tight so we don't lose you like we did with the rest of the team. Moreover, you looked so sad taht we thought this might cheer you up." admits Kalin. "We don't want to lose you, Syaoran."

Syaoran cracks a smile cuddling with his two friends. The Dragon Guardians sleep peacefully that night trying to forget what has happen over the past hours. Morning came early the next day waking Lavender from her sleep. She bolts straight up remembering what had happen. Syaoran moans in his sleep making Lavender look over to him. She sighs in relief finding her three Dragon Guardians to be okay. Lavender's heart grieves at the thought of the others are dead who had lost their lives for her. She looks back to Syaoran thanking the gods for allowing him to be okay. Lavender crawls over to them sleeping in front of Syaoran. Her hand trails next to his cheek, her fingers stroking softly on his cheek. The sun shines upon them no allowing them to continue sleeping. They all awaken from their sleep rubbing the sleepiness from their eyes. They hear noises coming from somewhere in the strange forest making the three Dragon Guardians jump to their feet. Syaoran passes a dagger to Lavender then pulling out two daggers. Syaoran throws the assassins into some lockers just in case some other assassins pass through this way. The Dragon Guardians walk down the hallway with the three original Dragon Guardians at the front. They have the crossbows pointed up in front of them and their fingers on the trigger just in case of any ambushes. Two assassins jump around the corner charging into an attack but Syaoran quickly shoots them down. He kicks the crossbows over to Miyuki and Lavender who quickly pick the crossbows up. The Dragon Guardians come to the middle of the school with five different hallways leading in different directions.

"Miyuki, where is the biggest place in this school?" asks Syaoran. "Big enough to fit the whole school."

"Um,. that would be the indoor courtyard that also serves as an auditorium." says Miyuki. "The hallway on the far right would take us right to it."

The Dragon Guardians head down the right hallway keeping their eyes open for any assassins. No assassins on their way to the courtyard making Syaoran wonder what is going on. They walk farther down the hallway coming to the glass window looking into the indoor courtyard. The Dragon Guardians lean up against a wall hoping that nobody had seen them. Syaoran takes a peek through the window seeing what they are up against.

"So, what are we up against?" asks Miyuki.

"It is worse than the assassins guarding the hallways. We will be going up against ninjas, the worst of it ish that we have to use short range attacks on them because the courtyard is too small for the crossbows." says Syaoran dropping the crossbow to the ground.

"Do you see the Shogun or his lords." asks Kalin.

Syaoran clenches his right hand, as he sees the Shogun and his many lords. He clenches his teeht together, as he sees his younger sister Sara. They pull out their daggers ready to pounce on the Shogun and his lords. Syaoran kicks the glass window smashing the windows to shattered pieces of glass. He jumps through the window standing in front of the Shogun. The Shogun is furious to find Syaoran in this time period commending his lords to attacks him. The lords advance upon Syaoran smirking huge grins as they finally get to battle the leader of the Dragon Guardians. Syaoran is also smiling holding two kunai daggers in his hands. The lords charge at Syaoran, all of them attacking him at the same time. Syaoran jumps out of the way standing on top of a pillar.

"I will only battle one person and that is my sister, Sara." declares Syaoran pointing to Sara.

The lords back away from Syaoran allowing Sara to walk out of the crowd. The two siblings stare at each other, as they reach for their swords. They feel no pain about attacking each other even if happy memories flood themselves into their minds. They both jump up to the roof going for more space. Sakura and the rest of the team jump through the broke window attacking their opponents when they are distracted. They knock the lords unconcious getting the hostages out of ther as they turn to the Shogun. The Shogun holds his new devil sword, called Demon, in his hand smirking at the few Dragon Guardians. Syaoran drops to the ground landing on his feet. He lays Sara on her back giving her over to Kalin.

"Take good care of her. She is just unconcious because I used a sleeping spell on her." advises Syaoran. "Let me take care of the Shogun." Sakura grabs a hold of his sleeve trying to stop him.

"Syaoran, let us help you. We are a part of the team." says Sakura.

"No, the fate of our other comrades will happen again if I allow any help." admits Syaoran turning his head away from Sakura. "Shogun, your evil actions end here!"

Syaoran charges at the Shogun holding a kunai dagger in each hand. The Shogun braces for impact but Syaoran disappears in a puff of smoke. Syaoran appears above the Shogun throwing fireballs at him. The Shogun jumps out of the way, as the stage is lit on fire. The Shogun smiles knowing that Syaoran will be burned to death by his own attack. He turns to the rest of the team walking towards them. The rest of the team has terrified looks on their faces. However, it is not fear of the Shogun but fear of what is happening behind the Shogun. The Shogun turns around to the stage, a horrified look immediately comes onto his face. Syaoran stands alive on the stage with the fire spinning around him in a swift circular movements. The Shogun stumbles away trying to get far away as Syaoran stares down to the Shogun. A panicked look comes across the Shogun's face but the expression quickly changes the moment he sees the eyes. Syaoran's eyes are dark as the night sky showing no soul inside of them. The fire calms down disappearing into the stones on Syaoran's gauntlets. A demonic presence radiates from Syaoran giving everyone the creeps.

"What is wrong with him?" asks a curious Miyuki.

"Syaoran has a very strong sealed demon within him to repress some disturbing memories that can drive Syaoran to death. Unfortunately, whenever Syaoran loses control of his mild temper the demon takes control over Syaoran's mind and eliminates the threat causing Syaoran grief." advises Lavender shivering at the radiating demon presence. Memories flash back to her about Syaoran torture at the sealing of the demon.

"How many times has the demon been out of the..." asks Kalin.

"Even do he is mild tempered, Syaoran has good control of his temper but sometimes it gets the better of him." admits Lavender. "I think this would be his first time."
