True Love Forgiving

I'd walk the halls asking why,
my life crumbled when you said good-bye.
To walk away and never look back,
left tears falling and my heart to crack.
It took a while to lift my head up proud,
deep down I secretly cried outloud.
We had hope for a future of love,
something most people only dream of.
You threw it aside ,
to satisfy you're selfish pride.
I live in fear to trust no longer,
you leaving me has made me stronger.
