My personal explanation of sportsmanship (you may beg to differ).
I ask you, the people, just what is sportsmanship?
What is the real definition?
Allow me to offer, not Webster’s opinion,
But simply a good explanation!

Before I explain, though, I’m compelled to warn you:
You may not like what you hear.
If that is the case, let me make this suggestion:
Get your narrow-minded butt out of here!

In this explanation, I use the term sportsmanship
As loosely as I can
So that I won’t be easily misconstrued
As a narrow minded man

Sportsmanship is an excuse for bullying
And an excuse for leaving people out
It’s an excuse to use the term “fitness” very loosely
And to stress the participants out

It’s an excuse for making people run without a purpose
And have the nerve to call it “exercise”
It’s an excuse for acting like brutish cavemen,
And an excuse to not act very wise

It’s an excuse to bully, to injure and to criticize
And have the nerve to call it “good fun”
It’s really nothing more than a cover label
To cover the sick and twisted fun

Most definitely contrary to common belief,
It is not how to become a man.
It is nothing more than a fancy name
For being a tyrannical man

In the final analysis, this is what sportsmanship is:
It shouldn’t be called sportsmanship at all!
Instead, it should be called shameful and childish,
And a poor excuse once and for all!
