I thought that we were friends but ...
Here I am standing on my own two feet
But hey nothing works anymore
Or
Maybe things will it be right again.
I'm pissed
You’re pissed
I'm sorry you’re still mad
What can I do to make you act like you were before?
Are you still here?
I miss the friend that I was becoming
I miss you
Are you still mad?
What will it take?
For you to begin to
Smile
Laugh
Brighten up
Tonight I'll be waiting
I'll be waiting at the spot
You know where it’s at
I'm not going to give up
How long will I have to wait?
Are you still mad?
Cause I'm not
Don't make me regret
Our friendship
Don't make me cry
Cause I'm not nice when I cry
In fact I'm deadly
It’s a fight you won’t win
It'll be a fight I can't stand to win
It'll be a fight you'll come to hate
It'll be a fight that you'll come to understand
Why I make all who oppose me cry
It'll be a fight where everyone will turn on you
It'll be a fight where there will be only ONE winner
So don't make me hate you
When we were so close to becoming
Friends
