Where You Take Me

You say we'll take a trip real soon.
To please make sure I'm ready by noon.
Off to a place where we will play;
To enjoy ourselves for a weekend stay.

I wonder with delight where it will be?
It doesn't matter as long as you're there with me.
Paris, Rome, or any other city.
I'll wear a hot dress so I look pretty.

Museums, zoos, and other fun places.
Plenty of pictures to capture our faces.
By day we will tear up the town.
But I can't wait for the sun to go down!

When the sun goes down and we're in bed;

My husband, my lover, and my best friend;
