The Walls that Keep me Together

My Appearance are the walls that keep me together

I brush away my curls to hide the wildness of my beauty

I wear glasses to cover the depth of the passion in my eyes

I dress in ill-fitting clothes to limit the temptation of my flesh

I wear shoes too big for my feet to obstruct my practiced grace

But I have left a window in my walls for you to find

Sometimes walls are put up to see who cares enough to knock them down

Crash that window and let the floods spill through

Let the world be Tempted by my Graceful Wild Passion

Let them marvel at the strength of the Will that keeps me from flying apart

And let them know of the single person who saw through the mask

and set me free
