Was it selfish ambition,
That led you to this?
And was there more to the story,
That I unknowlingly missed?

What truth was contained,
In your story, full of lies?
Did you ever care at all?
Was your affection a disguise?

You've made me unsure,
I feel oblivious ot what's true,
I'm double guessing myself,
And it's all because of you.

Apologized you have,
But not for the right thing.
You were sorry for first hurting me,
But not for the greatest sting.

Your reasoning, impressive,
It "wasn't in God's will"
But it didn't change your "feelings"
You "felt the same for me still"

But now as I stand,
afar off, looking on.
I wonder what happened,
That exactly went wrong...

A friend, you'd become,
