a poem about my ex boyfriend Animal
He stalks for his prey scanning the bar with piercing blue eyes
Searching girls he can decieve, girls that will fall for his lies
His heart is made of stone and his soul is painted black
he sees one that sparks his interest, he goes in for the attack
In the midst of flirtatious confusion he drags her into his world of illusion
Showering her with promises he never intended to keep
Giving her a love that she's only dreamt about in her sleep
And once he knows he has her hook, line, and sinker
He'll tell her he loves her while searching for another
He'll cheat on her until she figures him out
And she'll decide to leave him, but he'll fill her mind with doubt
He'll apologize with all the right words to say
And in the end he will convince her to stay
While telling his other girlfriend the exact same line
Thinking he won't get caught, there won't be a next time
But he'll get found out, and one of them will leave
Making room for one more girl in the web of deception he will weave
That's how it goes, he will always be the same
Thats how the player plays the game
