A cutsie little poem about finding out you love someone. My first on writing.com
Don't mind me,
When I look at you.
Standing there...
Your eyes so blue.

I'd ask you to be mine,
But what's so sad and true
Is that what will never be
Is me and you.

Here's to teen love
And never knowing why
It hurts so bad, makes you cry
Yet grabs you heart
With that special guy.

Don't mind me,
When I hold it back.
My will to love, to see.
But inside I say 'let him be...'

I wish you knew...
Can you care for a girl
So unique and askew?
What will it take my love?

I love, I cry,
I laugh, I die.
But it never matters
When I'm with you
I so badly wish to say,
"I love you."
