Long Story

What started out as just a  friend somehow brought me the courage to begin

It may seem impossible yet you made me strong you made me want to live again

Not just survive but to truly feel alive

You made me so angry and furious

All the while making me curious

Not that you care or even know but when you made me crazy you were still the voice of sanity

Suddenly I could face my reality

Thats when I began to grow  stronger than I had ever been

I realized the pain had to end

I was hurting so much I had become numb

You woke me up ,left me speechless and dumb

You left me angry and wanting to fight now I have begun to see the light

Now I can no longer simply exist I need to feel alive I can not resist

The smell of freedom makes my heart beat faster until I feel it will explode

My journey in this life has changed but you still hold my gaze and show me a different road

Now that I have a begun a different life I am confused nothing is the same

Even still I am a fighter I will survive this pain

I will not be beaten by the lies
