Love's Painful Tear

A lonely tear formed and...

Welled out of her eye she beheld him first.
A relationship born, it's growth well nursed.

Trailed down her cheek as she smiled with love
Thanking God for this gift from above.

Moistened her lips as she kissed him one time,
His at last, it was no longer a crime.

Dripped off her face, existing no more,
Her heart so broken, so dead, so sore.
