Will I follow in her footsteeps
She gave into the hunger of the darkness,
Let herself be taken under by the weight of her fear.
Standing on the edge of sadness,
She looked down into the unknown danger below.

We could not reach her.
Locked in a room with no windows,
To see outside of her pain,
She was trapped in the sorrow of her mind.

Oh, how I prayed!
Prayed for her return,
Prayed for her release,
Prayed for her eternal soul.

Was every happy moment a lie?
All those smiles,
All those songs,
All those promises of love.
