In Memoriam of:
Mary Alice King, Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, Aunt and Friend
November 10, 1939 in Wallins Creek, Kentucky to January 18, 2007 in Toledo, Ohio
We will always and forever love you and miss you deeply.
You've left
But I know not forever
I still need you though
For sadness and sorrow have been my own weather
If only we would've known sooner
That the cough was deadly
That it would give you lung cancer
and spread very quickly
The cough lead to lung cancer
We had the cancer removed
Shortly after, we found out
That the cancer had been moved
It had moved itself
Up to the brain
We knew it was bad
When you were always in pain
Then January 15
You were rushed to the hospital
Blood clots in your lungs
and legs does not tell us you're having a ball
Three days later
You died in your room
Surrounded by those who love you
and would still love to be able to see you soon
Now we can't see you everyday
but we know you're there
In our hearts we love you
In our souls we, forever and always, haave cared
Now I see your house
Wish I could see you when i go in
But your with God now
and I praise the Lord that there's no more pain in Heaven
Everyday
I need you here
when I see you again
I'll grin from ear to ear
For right now
Just always know I love you and I might cry
but I remember I'll meet you someday
In that sweet by and by
