Sleeping, she floats drunken.
Waiting, I sink lonely.

struggle to
stay
floating
here,
deep diver.

crying walls
she falls

wet
fingernails find
a towel I hold

waving white banner
surrender
awaiting saturation

I love her
hurting me

hiding tears
within walls

steam feels cold
to naked footprints
on fake tile.

evaporate stain
salt
sweat
clean.

condensation
our conversation
falls on me.

drip
